Jon Sherer | Chief Operating Officer
Jon came to Paraprin in March 2022 as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Jon has soup to nuts responsibility over the construction company. From hiring & building out teams, process development & implementation, budgeting, new home design, and acquisitions – these are just a few among his all-encompassing duties as COO.
With nearly 20-years of previous experience in the home construction industry & with significant experience with some of the most recognizable builders in the region, Jon has literally built thousands of homes making him an ideal fit for the job.
As a Cleveland resident, Jon loves the local pro sports teams and anything to do with the Ohio State Buckeyes. And he loves to play! Rather it be golf, flag football, volleyball, or a softball league, he loves to feed his competitive hunger both inside and outside of the office.
The ability to help build & improve a new construction company is what lured Jon to Paraprin as it was an ideal opportunity to create a successful, efficient, and team-oriented environment with a family feel from the ground up.
Heather Graves | Construction Resource Manager
Heather has her hands involved in everything at Paraprin Construction & thank goodness for it! From her previous 14 years of experience at the City of Lorain – 13 years of which she spent in the building department – Heather has acquired expertise in a broad range of mission critical categories.
Whether it be her knowledge of local ordinances, codes, requirements for inspections, zoning regulations, contractor & contractor requirements, materials, vendors & more – she also serves as the liaison between the construction field & operations office.
Heather lives with her family in Lorain & enjoys hanging out & traveling with her husband & daughter, Lily, but her favorite thing to do is spoiling her three precious pups: Piper, Maggie Mae & Betty White.
After a great 14 year run at the City of Lorain, Heather was drawn to be a part of something new where the sky, both personally & company-wide, is the limit & that’s why she’s at Paraprin today.
Josh Hammond | Manager of Marketing & Recruiting
From candidate screening, website development, community outreach & everything in between, if it has to do with hiring & marketing at Paraprin Construction, that’s where you’ll find Josh.
With 15 years of experience as an agency recruiter, 10 years as a small business owner, and as an active Realtor Josh was drawn to Paraprin after witnessing the start-up, entrepreneurial environment up close for himself when he was engaged by the company to help them hire for a critical leadership role.
Once the tables were turned & Paraprin began recruiting Josh, excitement in the ability to impact and help build a new company from the ground floor was too rare & unique of an opportunity to pass up.
Josh lives with his wife Angela, their 4 kids, and 3 pets in Amherst, Ohio. Spending time together is the family’s favorite thing to do especially when mixing in BBQ, football, and friends.
Joshua Gardner | Operations Manager, Acquisitions & Transitions
Among Joshua’s responsibilities at Paraprin is managing & expanding the company’s real estate portfolio & business offerings through acquisitions of properties, utilization of properties, & property transitions.
Prior to Paraprin, Joshua spent 8 years as Operations Manager at Ivy Garth Seed & Plants where he played a lead role in the organizations run of tremendous growth. And in 15 years as a licensed barber, Joshua cultivated the relationship & communication skills that are helping him lead the way at Paraprin today.
The unique opportunity to help build up communities in the neighborhood, city, and surrounding area he grew up in is what drew him to his role at Paraprin.
Joshua grew up in Cleveland as the youngest of 4 siblings (2 sisters, 1 brother) where he developed his competitive streak and love of sports. Joshua lives in Beachwood, Ohio where you’ll often find him on the links as a golfer and in the crowd of all types of sporting events from little league to pro & everything in between.
Adam Burr | Acquisitions Lead
Adam Burr serves Paraprin Construction as its Acquisitions Lead where he spearheads the company’s property acquisition efforts, particularly in pursuit of off-market opportunities & helps conduct a financial & neighborhood analysis to determine their best use.
Prior to joining Paraprin, Adam worked as a General Contractor for a private investment group before attaining his Ohio real estate license & eventually using his commissions to start his own successful home buying & flipping business.
Excelling at finding & buying great investment real estate properties is what made Adam an awesome fit for the role and the opportunity to do what he loves on a much larger scale created the perfect synergy between he & the company.
Adam lives in Chardon with his wife, Brittany, where he enjoys playing guitar, writing, song writing, acting, and hanging with his sweet pup & Paraprin’s office dog, Kona.
India Jones | Lead Property Manager
India Jones joined Paraprin Construction early in its formation, in August 2021, to work as a Property Acquisition Assistant before she was elevated to her current position as Lead Property Manager.
In this role, India is responsible for overseeing & managing the daily workings of Paraprin’s real estate investments, including but not limited to, finding tenants for long-term rentals, making sure tenants needs are met, determining market rent & making sure it’s paid on time, keeping up to date with property maintenance and repairs, and ensuring all properties are operating in good order.
India has developed a broad range of skills that bring tons of value to the company, her colleagues, and the properties & tenants she manages. From her previous experience working 10-years in the medical field specializing in elderly patients with developmental disabilities, she cultivated patience, empathy, strong communication & people skills. And with her educational background & business experience in property management she has a thorough understanding of how to manage projects & see them through completion.
Paraprin provided India an opportunity to play a key role in an organization that allows her to help improve the financial situation of people in the community by helping them explore options to maximize the value of their property and it’s the reason why she’s there today.
In her free time, India enjoys the arts, the outdoors – especially the Cleveland Metroparks, taking care of her fur baby cats, and most of all, the job she enjoys most is that of being a mother to her beloved children.
Thomas Marsh | Project Manager
Tom Marsh joined Paraprin Construction as a Project Manager where, in this position, he has full oversight & responsibility over a myriad of the company’s rehabilitations & construction projects. Among his duties is to direct workflow & labor management on his job sites, materials & vendor management, track & adhere to anticipated completion dates, budgeting, and provides input on scope of work for potential Paraprin projects.
Tom’s presence at Paraprin is a major asset to the company as they’re able to tap into & utilize the skills, knowledge, experience, and construction intuition that can only be established by someone like Tom with 30-years-plus of construction experience – including several successful years running his own business.
Tom lives in Lorain with his life partner, whom is a great woman, where they enjoy being grandparents to 10 awesome people. In his free time, Tom enjoys the outdoors, kayaking, golfing, and he is most passionate about helping mentor those from the younger generations.
After 30-years of construction, including many as a self-employed construction professional, Tom was attracted to Paraprin for the breath of fresh air the new company provided & the opportunity to grow with & within the organization.
Dave Linna | Senior Project Manager-New Home Construction
Dave Linna serves Paraprin Construction as the company’s Senior Project Manager over new home construction where within his purview of responsibility is materials, pricing, vendor & contractor management, job site supervision, keeping the projects on-time & on-budget, quality control, and anything else under the new construction umbrella.
Dave brings with him to Paraprin a plethora of custom home building knowledge & experience having spent 35-years-plus in the industry which includes 27-years running his own custom home building business, Linna Homes. Many of the most marvelous custom homes in towns like Westlake, Avon, Avon Lake, Elyria, Sheffield, Sheffield Lake, and North Olmsted have been built with Dave’s vision, execution, and leadership as the primary driver.
A life-long resident of The International City, Dave was born in Lorain as the youngest of 4-siblings whom, along with his parents, taught him the valuable life lessons of toughness, work ethic, and doing the job right the first time.
A proud father of 5 terrific individuals, Dave & his beautiful bride, Erica, reside together in Lorain. In his free time, he enjoys doing work around the house, golfing, fishing, and traveling to he and Erica’s most special destination, the place they were married, Las Vegas.
Zach James | Project Manager-Landscaping
Zach James has been in the landscaping business since he was 15-years old, so it’s no surprise that he joined Paraprin to start & lead the company’s Landscaping division as its Sales & Project Manager.
Before Paraprin Zach spent years learning every facet of the landscaping industry, it’s nuances & what makes clients happy. He earned his place on the Paraprin team off his exceptional performance on one of the company’s million-dollar-plus home renovations where he went above and beyond to finish the job with the quality that a million-dollar home commands.
The rare opportunity to not only join a new company, but also start & lead a new division within it, was all the allure needed for Zach to come aboard.
Zach is the proud father of three girls, Aubrey, Kinley, & Khloee and the grateful son of his mother Alina Colon and veteran father (1SG), Patrick James.
Zach is a resident of Lorain & enjoys the outdoors – camping, fishing, and riding ATVs among his favorites – in his free time.
Jacob Edwards | Acquisitions & General Services Assistant
Jacob, as Acquisitions & General Services Assistant, is one of Paraprin’s go-to-guys for special projects ranging from property management, renovations, & various other operational aspects of the business. Among his most impactful contributions to Paraprin is through his work finding properties to add to the company’s portfolio in acquisitions.
Prior to joining Paraprin, Jacob worked in Shipping & Receiving in a warehouse operated by grocery store chain, Aldi. No matter the tasks assigned, Jacob goes all in on the opportunity & adds a great attitude to the company culture.
Jacob joined Paraprin for the wide range of opportunities to learn & advance his career – and – he’s especially grateful for the company’s family-like environment.
Jacob lives in Westlake with his two cute, cuddly, and conniving cats, Goose & Moose. In addition to enjoying his felines’ playful nature, he enjoys competing with his friends in various video games.
Keith O’Berg Sr. | Director of Concrete Services
Keith is Paraprin’s Director of Concrete Services where, using his 30-years of experience in the concrete business, he leads the company’s concrete division’s operations.
Prior to joining Paraprin Construction, Keith spent the previous 20-years building a brand & family legacy as the owner/president of Northern Ohio Concrete, where he became known as a staple of quality & consistency in the Lorain County and greater Cleveland construction arenas.
Keith lives in Sheffield Village with his wife, Amanda, who works for Northwest Bank as a branch manager. Keith & Amanda enjoy hunting, camping & trail riding, but their greatest pride & joy is derived from their children, all of whom have or currently do, serve the public, and their loving grandchildren.
Keith, like so many others, was drawn to the opportunity with Paraprin to take on a leadership position in helping a new company, and new concrete division, grow from the ground up.
